You have a multitude of curriculum options out there, but where do you start right?
Methods/Approaches
Traditional/Textbook - Just what you think it is. Text books/workbook learning facilitated by you.
Unit Studies - a focus on one topic at a time. As this topic is learned, a variety of subject areas are explored in the process.
Literature-Based/Living Books - use of literature serves as the base to all of the subjects.
Classical Education - study where people learn for themselves. Trivium, are reason, record, research, relate, and rhetoric are tools integrated in this approach.
Unschooling/Relaxed Homeschooling - still puzzled by this one, but I believe it is allowing natural learning to thrive.
Online - Students log on to the program and participate in engaging instructional activities. These include videos, interactive games, fun and engaging instruction and online practice activities, quizzes and tests.
Eclectic- homeschooling that involves picking and choosing from different homeschool methods and finding a tailored curriculum specific to your child.
